Hello

I’m Becky, a BACP registered psychotherapist, offering 1/1 counselling, online

across the UK.

I built my therapeutic experience within the NHS in Cheshire, offering counselling to clients within

Macmillan Cancer Support.

Within my Private Practice, I continue to support individuals affected by cancer,

loss and bereavement. I am also deeply passionate about supporting clients

with reproductive healthcare experiences such as abortion/termination, miscarriage and baby loss.

At its heart, my practice leads with a knowing that while the experiences we face in life can

be and feel all-consuming, they are not all that we ‘are’. With this in mind, I also work with

clients experiencing life changes, difficulties at work, loneliness, and challenges with self-

esteem.

I also work alongside clients seeking therapy for wider personal development.

I do not work with clients under the age of 18.

About Me

I’m a registered psychotherapist with former professional experience as both a linguist and marketer. In addition to my work as a counsellor/psychotherapist, I have also supported counsellor training at Keele University as a guest lecturer, presenting sessions on counselling research, loneliness and 'abortion, miscarriage and baby loss'. I believe that counselling and therapy can be transformative – and came to this belief through my own life-changing experience in the client chair.

Through my formal training and experience within the NHS, I have developed a heartfelt passion for supporting, listening to and being alongside others - no matter what they might be going through in their lives. As a therapist, my approach is led by my care for the individual personhood of each of my clients. I believe that people are more than what is happening to them right now or what has happened in the past.

As a person-centred therapist, my approach is also rooted in respect for my clients and how they experience the world – it is with this that I invite my clients to explore what might be feeling, at their own pace, and in a way that feels right for them. I am not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ therapist. Instead, I am a firm believer in the power of the therapeutic relationship and working together to come to what therapy could look like for you.

During my time seeing clients in the NHS, this sometimes included the use of creative methods to explore feelings or experiences.

I currently hold sessions via online platform ‘Zoom’.
